The WMEA Advocacy Committee (formerly WAME) is made up of educators, parents, business people and other community members who believe that all children deserve a balanced education that includes the study of music and the other arts. WMEA’s goal is to educate communities about the inherent benefits of music education. This advocacy group was created as a way for music educators, performing artists, composers, parents, music merchants and manufacturers, working together, to help decision-makers understand that “Music Makes The Difference.”
